In addition to your magic, you are gifted a magical chicken-legged cottage that you can fully customise as you travel through the procedurally generated landscapes of forests, swamps, and villages.

Magical Delicacy – Secrets Hide in the Shadows of Grat

As Flora, you can experiment with ingredients to create dishes that cater to even the most peculiar customers, from frog-like creatures to a fussy Princess. The platforming allows you to navigate Grat’s intricate environments and unlock new paths and secrets as you play. My favourite feature is definitely transforming into a cat, but it takes a while to get to that point in the game.
Wylde Flowers – Belongs on Every Cosy Game List Ever Made

In Wylde Flowers, you step into Tara’s shoes. Tara is a young woman who moves to a picturesque island to help her grandmother and manage the family farm. During the day, you’ll engage in familiar farming activities like planting crops and tending animals, while by night, Tara embraces her magical side — brewing potions, flying on a broomstick, and, yes, controlling the weather. What a twist!
With its engaging, fully-voiced characters, Wylde Flowers delivers a heartwarming tale of community, self-discovery, and the interplay between the mundane and mystical. Fairhaven’s detailed world provides a rich narrative experience with a touch of whimsy. Players can enjoy bonding with villagers and transforming into a cat, making it a magical, relaxing escape full of charm and creativity.
Unlike the majority of the best witchy games in 2024 on this list, Wylde Flowers has a cuter design that isn’t likely to give you nightmares.

This almost meditative crafting RPG lets you explore hidden histories and guide visitors while shaping your own mysterious past.
The game’s slower pace could be ideal for those who want to enjoy exploring without the pressures of combat. Players who find joy in piecing together history, guiding others, and growing into their role will love BOOK OF HOURS. If you’re a witchy librarian archetype who delights in quiet contemplation, I’d highly recommend picking up this game.

Noita challenges players with its permanent death system. But, the game’s allure is its ever-changing world and the impact your crafted magic has. For fans of roguelites gameplay, Noita delivers an engaging and innovative experience.
I spent some time on Reddit searching for witchy games, and Noita seems to be a favourite in the genre. Its unique design and numerous hidden secrets are easy to gravitate towards. However, it’s still a pixel game, which not every gamer enjoys.
Black Book – Surrender Yourself to the Dark
