It’s time for a new monthly giveaway, and I’ve got a special treat for October! It’s going to be my birthday this month, so in celebration, I’m giving away our biggest game yet. Whilst I always try to choose fun titles such as Sonic Mania or Yooka-Laylee, this month I’ve gone Triple A in a big way, and am doing a Darksiders III giveaway! This hack’n’slash action-adventure game has garnered critical acclaim for its fantastic open world elements. Play as an adventurer named FURY as she hunts down and destroys the seven deadly sins. It’s a momentous task, and requires a skilled hero such as yourself.
The world has a rich visual style which will make you appreciate all the detailed designs. There are plenty of different enemies to defeat, all with a unique look to them. The game is developed to be graphically impressive, and the world will fully immerse you.
The combat is the real star of the show in this game. If you like a challenging real-time fight, this is the game for you. There’s no turn-based patience here, but there’s still a lot of strategy involved. Each enemy has its own range of attacks, and you’ll need to study its patterns to really get a feel for what you’ll need to do. Search for its weaknesses, and then unleash your rage! There’s a varied moveset, and you’ll have to find which skills work best for you. There are plenty of different weapons to choose from, and you’ll be spoiled for choice. It’s a real learning curve, and there’s a lot of fun to be had with the combat.
