Here’s the next entry in the Success or Mess quiz series! This quiz will be looking at movies starting with the letter T, and this does include the word ‘the’. It begins with T, and so technically it makes the movie fall into the T category. Hey, I don’t make the rules! Well, I suppose I do, but I stand by my decision! Anyway, if you haven’t done one of these quizzes before, it’s based on the score on Rotten Tomatoes. You have to guess whether each movie is a success or mess.
Now, bear in mind that this is based on the overall percentage from the critics. Audience scores are irrelevant to this quiz, so try to think from the perspective of an expert. The classification for success or mess is:
Over 75 = Success
74 or under = Mess
So, with the rules out of the way, I wish you the best of luck! No cheating!

#1. The Prestige (2006)
This is my favourite movie of all time, so if you rated it as a mess then shame on you! Although the critics nearly did, it only just made it into success with a score of 76%.

#2. Tag (2018)
This upsets me. Sure, it’s no masterpiece, but it’s a fun and entertaining movie to watch, and it deserves a far better score than the measly 56% it was given. Shame on the critics.

#3. The World’s End (2013)

#4. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011)

#5. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
One of the rare cases where an entire franchise manages to be superb. This might have been the third offering in the trilogy, but there was no quality lost here!

#6. The Waterboy (1998)
This is on you for thinking that an Adam Sandler movie would be a success.

#7. Top Gun (1986)
I was pretty shocked to see that this movie had only scored 57% on Rotten Tomatoes, as a lot of people proudly cite it as their favourite film!

#8. The Core (2003)
I unapologetically love this movie, but it seems I’m the only one. Voted as only 40% by the critics, and even lower on the audience score, this is definitely a mess.

#9. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018)
This movie quickly became one of my favourite rom-coms, and I eagerly devoured the sequels too. Well worth a watch, if you enjoy the genre.

#10. The Truman Show (1998)
It’s weird to see Jim Carrey in a relatively serious role, but he actually does a surprisingly great job.
So, how did you do? Did you guess how critics rated these movies starting with T? If you scored 7 or more, you can count yourself as a true movie aficionado! If you scored 6 or less, then better luck next time. You tried your best, and that’s all you can ever do in life.
